Mission

The CVH advances the understanding, diagnosis and therapy of cardiovascular diseases and will – for the first time – make prevention and cure of stroke, heart and vascular disease a realistic option.

Purpose

The CVH is an inter-disciplinary research centre that enables research at the highest international level of quality and impact to achieve the mission. The CVH allocates resources by capacity and commitment to defined integrated research programs.

Corporate Culture

The CVH commits to excellence in research and translation into clinical, commercial as well as educational outcomes through mutually supportive and transparent actions both, by the CVH management and each CVH member. The centre is Monash-led but invites membership from other institutions, individual members, and any stakeholder whose objectives or actions contribute to the mission.
