Governance and Organisation
The CVH is a centre within the School of Biomedical Sciences (SoBS) and reports directly to the Head of SoBS, Professor Christina Mitchell. The CVH is administratively based at the Department of Pharmacology.
The CVH is lead by an Executive Team composed of the Director, Professor Harald Schmidt, the Deputy Director, Professor Barry McGrath, and the Chief Scientific Officer, Dr Kirstin Wingler. This team integrates the scientific disciplines of the CVH members.
Each Core Research Platform of the CVH is lead by an area head.
